Our Mission

Kinsley's Unicorn Squad is continuing to grow and fight for those affected by pediatric brain cancers. Our mission rests on three pillars:

• Research - Sadly, only 4% of the entire National Cancer Institute R&D budget funds pediatric cancer as a whole, and the amount is much smaller for the rare brain cancers such as ATRT. Kinsley's Unicorn Squad funds basic research through organizations such as PNOC to help accelerate cures and improve outcomes for children affected by brain cancers.

• Warriors - The children that fight brain cancer are absolute warriors and are asked to relinquish their bodies to the many providers, procedures, and treatments required to fight their disease.  They deserve much more support than they receive and Kinsley's Unicorn Squad seeks to alleviate the burden through funding of Child Life projects across the US.

• Families - Support for these warriors is primarily delivered by immediate family members whom put their own lives on hold to join the fight.  Parents and siblings often sacrifice everything to achieve one goal - to make the child well again. Kinsley's Unicorn Squad seeks to provide support to families with a primary focus on care for "super siblings" and delivering opportunities to make beautiful memories with their loved ones.
